A huge trend this summer is the midi ring – everyone seems to be wearing them. What’s great is that they’re really cheap to buy, so stacking them doesn’t become too pricey!

I was in the changing rooms of a rather (very) expensive high street store when I saw an absolute style queen come out of the cubicle to show her friends what she was trying on. She looked amazing – wearing high wasted white jeans and a plaid cropped shirt. The green eyed monster appeared, and I frantically ran out to the denim section because I just had to have them (even though I had no idea when I’d wear them). When I finally found my size, I checked the tag and saw the price. I won’t say exactly how much they were, but put it this way, I couldn’t afford to show them off anywhere because the price would have crippled me into hibernation for a month or so.
So, I ran across the street to Primark, and picked a pair up for £8. You can’t argue with that. I decided to wear them to a bar in Manchester that’s too fancy for leggings but not fancy enough for bare legs and a playsuit (you know the type), and style them with a bright Miss Selfridge blazer (it’s so bright, it’s not for the faint-hearted!), Topshop shoes, socks and cami top.

Everybody’s favourite Pretty Little Liar, Shay Mitchell, is rocking this summer’s trends like there’s no tomorrow.
The brunette beauty stunned her instagram followers as always with her effortlessly chic outfit, teaming a bright patterned jumpsuit with an equally bright yellow bag. I’ve been on a bargain hunt and found affordable ways to steal her style, with the whole outfit coming in under £100.
Tribal and Hawaiian prints are going to be huge this summer, and jumpsuits are funky alternatives to dresses (this stunner from Missguided is amazing, so be sure to get it before it’s gone). Clashing accessories like bright bags and statement necklaces are going to be big on the scene too, so don’t be afraid to be daring!
Rings are the easiest thing to throw on and completely spruce up an otherwise neutral outfit. Normally I stick to plain metals – but recently, big, bold rings seem to be popping up left, right and centre. The best thing is there’s one for every budget. And I mean every budget.
I’m a big Vivienne Westwood fan, so I had to share this one. At £95 it’s definitely not as expensive as I thought it would be, but it’s still going to require some saving.

This one’s a beaut. It’s only £20 (still a bit much if you’re on a tight budget) and the purple and gold look really good together.

I’m under no illusion that this isn’t going to stand the test of time (it costs £2.99!) but at such a cheap price you can afford to wear it once and replace it when it gives up.
