Recently I’ve been looking for a new concealer – one that doesn’t dry my skin out and one that definitely doesn’t come in a little pot (I hate when you get to the bottom and the concealer just gets stuck under your nails). So I came across Benefit’s Fakeup, and I have to say it’s amazing. It promises to hide dark circles and smooth out lines under your eyes – I can confirm it definitely does this. It’s really hydrating – so much so that I’d advise to avoid it if you already have really oily skin. The outer layer is like a balm, and the inner is where you’ll find the colour, which is refreshing.
According to their website, their tests show that:
- 100% said fakeup hydrates skin*
- 100% said fakeup feels comfortable on skin*
- 100% said the texture feels silky*
Coming in three shades, there’s a Fakeup for everyone – I chose the medium and it matches whether I’m wearing day or night foundation as it’s great to blend. It’s really easy to apply and looks great in my makeup bag.
In honour of our Kate receiving her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, I’m looking back at her fashion choices through the decades. An English rose with constant elegance and class, she’s been rocking this season’s styles before the likes of Cara Delevingne were even born. She was presented her star by Titanic director James Cameron, Kathy Bates (Molly Brown!) and Shailene Woodley (if you don’t already know who Shailene is, you will do soon). It’s about time I think… even if she wouldn’t move over on the floating door for Leo.
Fashion always comes back around, Kate’s sporting trends that are still big today.
Co ordinates are going to be huge this summer, and although some of the patterns available are a bit out there, I really love them. They’re a fun alternative to a dress or playsuit (no one has time for the precise military mission that is going to the loo in a playsuit), and you can pick between buying a matching top and skirt, or a top and short or trousers. I really like Missguided’s current range – they’re on trend and really affordable.
With the summer bod creeping into everyone’s mind, it’s almost a relief to hear that Topshop and Adidas Originals are collaborating to bring us a edgy fitness line straight out of the 80s. I hate to admit it – but the boyf has been buying Adidas Originals like it’s going out of style for years, but I never really saw the fuss until now. Combining their casual style and Topshop’s affordable fashion, the 20 piece collection is set to hit stores this spring. Sign up here to be the first to know when the range lands -as rumours are it’s going to be pretty popular. Not surprising considering it looks like this:
